Melissa Gerlach serves as Managing Director of Investigations for the Washington, DC Metro area for the Glover Group LLC. Ms. Gerlach is court-certified and qualified as an expert witness. She has a decade of experience working in conjunction with a large metropolitian police force and served as a task force investigator on a Washinton, DC area Narcotics and Organized Crime Task Force. Ms. Gerlach also served as a member of the prestigious Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team for the police department and is an expert in personnel and physical security, surveillance and tactical operations.
Ms. Gerlach has also worked hands on in the field of computer forensics, acquiring and analyzing electronic evidence in support of civil litigation.
Prior to joining Glover Group, Ms. Gerlach was serving as an emergency management specialist for a Federal Continuity of Operations (COOP) site where she gained extensive training and experience in developing Business Continuity Plans and emergency management procedures.
Ms. Gerlach graduated from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and has recently earned her Master of Arts Degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University.
